Health & Wellbeing day 2025
A Sanctuary of Healing…
On a serene Sunday morning in June, the air around The Sai Epicentre buzzed with a vibrant community hub for care. Walls were echoed with conversations about blood pressure, mental health, diabetes, cardiac care, gut health, and the healing power of love and knowledge.
This was not just another health fair. This was Health & Wellbeing Day, a soul-led, heart-powered celebration of community, care, and connectedness.
153 Lives… One Day… Countless Ripples!
In just four hours, 153 people stepped into this sanctuary and walked out transformed, equipped with new tools, inspired by new conversations, and seen as whole human beings, not just symptoms.
Each individual was welcomed like family and cared for like kin. The elderly found empathy. The youth found inspiration. Parents found support. Children found joy. And everyone found something precious, the reminder that health is not a privilege, but a right, and wellbeing is a collective responsibility.
A Symphony of Science, Soul & Service
What made this event extraordinary wasn’t just the range of services, it was the intention. It was the unity of modern medicine, ancient wisdom, and heartfelt human touch.
15 doctors, including specialist consultants and GPs, offered free, on-the-spot consultations 2 energy healing experts held gentle, profound Reiki and Pranic healing sessions, 1 dedicated nutritionist empowered attendees to rethink their relationship with food, Tai Chi and Cricket tasters moved bodies and lifted spirits, 6 transformative health talks opened minds and started vital conversations.
From gut health to sexual wellness, from stroke prevention to mental wellbeing, these talks didn’t just inform, instead, they ignited change.
A Healing Shelter Woven by Many Hands:
What made this initiative soar was not just the vision, but the collective will of an entire ecosystem. The event was co-created with 18 well-being partners, from grassroots organisations to NHS services. It was diversity in its highest form of expertise, ethnicity, age, and approach, united by a shared mission: to uplift, heal and empower.
Supporting Partners Included:
Waltham Forest Council, Newham Council, Barclays, Tesco, East London NHS Foundation Trust, Healthwatch, Change Grow Live, Met Police, Positive East, Cycle Sisters, Dao Lu, Shobhana’s Ayurveda, The Parent Village, Holistic Health Nutrition, Woodgrange Medical Practice, and many more.
Families Came for Food. Stayed for Friendship.
Children painted. Grandparents danced to Tai Chi rhythms. Youth tried cricket with new confidence. Strangers became friends. Laughter rang out between blood pressure checks and mindfulness circles.
This was healthcare as it should be joyful, dignified, human. Legacy Beyond the Day
More than metrics, the impact lies in what happens next.
A diabetic woman who never knew her sugar levels now has a care plan. A lonely elder now has a social prescriber to call.
A young man who had never spoken about his mental health now knows he’s not alone. A single mother left with tools to nourish her kids with healing foods.
This was not a one-day miracle. It was the start of a thousand quiet revolutions in everyday lives. A Place for a Kinder Tomorrow
In an age of overburdened systems and fractured care, the Health & Wellbeing Day was a bold reminder of what happens when we come together, not as professionals or patients, but as people. When service flows not just from duty, but from love.
This initiative wasn’t just healthcare delivery. It was community awakening. It was faith in action. And it was nothing short of sacred.
