About WSSBO (UK)
Our Story
The World Shirdi Sai Baba Organisation (UK) [WSSBO] is a registered charity, founded in 2012, dedicated to spreading the teachings and philosophy of Shirdi Sai Baba, fostering spiritual growth, and serving humanity through selfless service (seva).
Based in Newham & Waltham Forest, we work closely with local residents, councils, businesses, and charities to empower individuals, provide essential support, and foster unity. Through initiatives like free food distribution, knowledge empowerment programs, health and well-being support, and community initiatives, we strive to make a meaningful impact, guided by the values of compassion, service, and inclusivity.
Our Mission
Our mission is guided by four core pillars:
- Food and Humanitarian Aid (Anna Dana) – Providing nourishment and essential support to those in need, ensuring that no one goes hungry.
- Knowledge Empowerment (Vidya Dana) – Empowering individuals, especially youth, through spiritual, cultural, and academic learning.
- Health and Wellbeing (Arogya Dana) – Promoting overall well-being through medical aid and holistic health initiatives.
- Community & Social Responsibility (Prakriti Seva) – Encouraging sustainability, unity, and compassionate service.
Through these initiatives, WSSBO strives to uplift individuals and communities, fostering compassion, righteousness, and selfless service, in alignment with Shirdi Sai Baba’s teachings of “Sabka Malik Ek” (One God for All) and universal love and brotherhood.
We actively collaborate with Shirdi Sai organizations worldwide, supporting religious, spiritual, cultural, educational, and charitable activities to create a harmonious and service-oriented society
